Jaycee Park - Parking and Neighbourhood Concerns

The Municipality and CMBA have received a number of complaints from concerned neighbours in the area of Phillip Street and Jaycee Park. With the number of people and children who attend the park, ensuring that parking doesn't create an unsafe environment is vitally important.
The concerns relate to the following:
The Chatham-Kent Police Service has been made aware and will take a zero tolerance approach to any infractions.

- parking across driveways impeding access to residents
- parking within the intersection
- excessive garbage strewn across the grounds
- an overall lack of consideration by patrons of the park
