Jaycee Park - Parking and Neighbourhood Concerns

The Municipality and CMBA have received a number of complaints from concerned neighbours in the area of Phillip Street and Jaycee Park.   With the number of people and children who attend the park, ensuring that parking doesn't create an unsafe environment is vitally important.

The concerns relate to the following:

• parking in no-parking areas
• parking across driveways impeding access to residents
• parking within the intersection
• excessive garbage strewn across the grounds
• an overall lack of consideration by patrons of the park

Please be mindful and respectful of the neighbours who surround the park as they don't deserve to be negatively impacted.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has been made aware and will take a zero tolerance approach to any infractions.
