A.L.L. For Kids Funding

CMBA is a supporter of the "A.L.L. (Activity, Leisure, Lessons) for Kids" program in Chatham-Kent.

For more information, contact ckafk@chatham-kent.ca or read below.

To REGISTER, follow the guidelines below.

The “A.L.L. For Kids” program covers the cost of extra-curricular activities for children whose parents could otherwise not afford it.  The program has financially supported the activities of approximately 1,000 Chatham-Kent children per year since its inception in 2001. Once approved, children are allowed two extra-curricular sessions of activities per year. The program is very flexible in what the child can participate in. Choices include, but are not limited to: house-league sports (such as hockey, baseball, soccer, martial arts, archery, horseback riding), camps (such as summer day-camps and overnight camps), art lessons, music lessons, Girl Guides, Scouts and more.

Funding is limited and money is allocated on a first come, first served basis. Funding is allocated once a completed request form is approved by the E&SS Case Manager.

General Eligibility Criteria:

In order for a family/child to be eligible, all of the following criteria must be fulfilled:
1)            Must be a resident of Chatham-Kent.
2)            Must choose an eligible activity.
3)            Note: the program does not cover travel sports, tutoring, school field trips, or travel expenses associated with attending the activity.
4)            Funding is limited to 2 sessions/activities per child, per calendar year
5)            The family is in receipt of OW or ODSP funding, or falls within the Low Income Measures (LIM).
6)            Families who are not in receipt of social assistance will need to provide documentation to verify their net household income falls within the LIM guidelines
7)            Is applying for a child aged 0-16 who is living in the home of their parent/guardian.

Note: children between the ages of 17-18 can be referred to the Jump Start Program unless they have a disability, then can be considered for funding
