The Chatham-Kent Glory Days Baseball League is for those individuals looking to have fun, get some exercise and play the great game of baseball at a first-rate facility.  

The main objective is to remain non-competitive and recreational.  It is also a great way to meet new players and develop relationships with people within your league.  

The league is NOT for those looking to "make it to the show" or hoping for Major league scouts to be there to watch.  Do not take this too serious.

Players must turn 35 years old that playing year.  You will be required to provide proof of your date of birth to CKGDBL Executive.

Teams will be selected during a draft conducted by all Team Managers and the CKGDBL Executive.

Last year we had 4 teams and used Wednesday nights.   If registration continues to increase and we add two more teams, we will also use Tuesday night for one game.

Teams will play only one night per week.

Schedule starts mid-August and runs through to Championship weekend on the first Saturday in October.

All games played at Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park.

Registration will be OPEN to the first 60 players that register, online through the CMBA website. 

Registration closes July 1st.

No refunds after August 1st.   Any refund given prior to August 1st will be charged a $10 handling fee.

Each player will receive:

• team shirt
• custom fitted Glory Days ball cap
• steak dinner meal at end of season banquet
• prizes if on a championship team

Fee covers:

• maintenance fees for use of Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park
• insurance
• baseballs
• umpires
• catchers equipment
• championship prizes

Players Must Provide:

• helmet
• wooden bat or wood composite bat (no aluminum bats allowed)
• gloves
• grey baseball pants
